Question of the Week

Question:  "I keep hearing about something called AI.  Microsoft, for one, seems to really be pushing it.  What the heck is AI?"

Answer:  You're going to be hearing more and more about AI.  And, yes, Microsoft is one of the driving forces behind AI.  So, what is AI?  AI is another of those wonderful computer acronyms and it stand for Artificial Intelligence. AI is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems.  It has gained prominence recently due, in part, to big data, or the increase in speed, size and variety of data businesses are now collecting. AI can perform tasks such as identifying patterns in the data more efficiently than humans, enabling businesses to gain more insight out of their data.1

AI can be used in education, finance, business and many other places.  In the near future, we'll be expanding Keystone Computer Concepts' involvement in AI and we'll take you along with us so watch for more AI information!
