NAR - Tax Reform. Local Real Estate Taxes deductibility - This year the Congress is set to revamp (simplify) the tax code. Although NAR cannot predict what changes might occur, it appears that the deduction of local Real Estate Taxes is in jeopardy. The state and local property tax deduction is essential to homeowners. Current homeowners know that paying property taxes is a part of owning a home, but they also know those payments to state and local governments can be deducted from their federal income tax. Without that deduction, homeowners would get taxed on the income used to pay their property taxes. This is a form of “double taxation” that hits home for lower and middle-income households. NAR has made lobbying for this continued deduction a priority. As Realtors we need to support this fight by both informing our customers and clients of this proposed change and the impact it will have on the values of their homes and supporting RPAC. If you have never invested in RPAC this is the year your investment is crucial. I cannot stress enough the importance of RPAC to our profession!

Join us for unlimited Wine or Beer, Cheeses, Fruit, Cruditè and Antipasto.

Event also includes Auctions for RPAC! Money paid for auction items will count towards your RPAC credit for the year!

As established by Founder, Msgr. Vincent E. Puma, the mission of Eva's Village is to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, treat the addicted and provide medical and dental care to the poor with respect for the human dignity of each individual. Located in downtown Paterson, New Jersey, Eva's Village is a faith based, nondenominational anti-poverty 501(c)(3) non-profit striving to be a model social service organization dedicated to helping people in need.

Every day, the staff, board of directors, and volunteers of Eva's Village are hard at work putting faith into action by helping troubled people find dignity and the path to a fulfilling, productive life. We work to end hunger, homelessness, addiction, and despair one person and one family at a time. We help our clients achieve improved  health, stability and employment, build a bank account and develop healthy financial habits so they can move on to independent living. In accomplishing this, we heal families, help to establish safe and stable homes for children, and create better communities in the state of New Jersey.
