  • Singers may be dropped at the Lathrop St. or Breese Terrace entrance and should report to the sanctuary for attendance
  • Please wear your normal school clothes (NOT your concert wardrobe)
  • Please bring all of your music to rehearsal
  • Thank you for planning ahead to ensure you can arrive on time!
  • The Big Red Box will be at rehearsals this weekend for payments, intention forms, etc.

Please read about parking in this neighborhood (there are several university lots nearby that are free on weekends). Thank you for sharing this information with your friends and family who will be attending the concerts on May 13. Please note: the small Lathrop Street parking lot next to the building SHOULD NOT be used by MYC families on Monday as it is needed for a church function. Please drop off and park on the street or in one of the other lots nearby.

As a reminder, dress rehearsals (like all our regular rehearsals) are open and are great opportunities to get pictures or record video snippets of your child’s ensemble in the concert venue without the hassle of finding a "good seat" or being a distraction to other concert patrons on concert day.

If you need to report an absence or late arrival, please complete the online absence form linked in the header section above. As a safety measure, if your singer is not checked in at rehearsal and we have not heard they will be absent, we will call you to verify the absence. The best way to reach us during rehearsals is via the MYC cell phone: 608-770-7464.

Keep reading for all the details you need to know!
2018-19 Season Intention Forms
We will still be accepting singer intention forms and deposits this weekend. Please look for the Big Red Box at rehearsals! Submitting your intention form reserves your seat on a roster for next season and ensures you will receive the time-sensitive 2018-19 placement and registration forms scheduled for delivery to families in mid-June.

If you have submitted your intention form indicating you will be auditioning but HAVE NOT reserved your audition slot, please take care of this ASAP. Audition reservations are handled separately via our website links and should be made only after the intention form and deposit have been submitted.
Tuition and Fundraising Statements
Updated tuition and fundraising statements were emailed to families last week who have had activity in the past month or who have an outstanding balance. As a reminder, the fundraising contribution goal may be met by writing a check for the amount remaining and this is considered a tax-deductible donation to MYC.  Thank you for paying attention to your progress toward raising $200!
Spring Outreach Tours
It's been a grand week of singing throughout the community and we hope you've caught a glimpse of some of the magic happening via our Facebook posts from each tour.

Reminders for Britten and Capriccio:
  • We assume your singer is participating unless we have already heard from you regarding their absence. Every voice counts! Please make sure you have communicated the absence to your school.
  • Singers should wear their red MYC polo and jeans or pants.
  • Please note the lunch plans indicated on the itinerary.
  • Thank you for paying attention to the drop-off and pick-up times at Westgate as listed on your itinerary so we can be sure to start the day on time!
