This Weekend With MYC
Sunday, December 6, dress rehearsals at our First Congregational Church

    2:30 - 3:30PM Choraliers
    3:30 - 5:00PM Capriccio
    5:00 - 6:30PM Cantilena

Con Gioia, Cantabile and Ragazzi give their final performance with the MSO on Sunday afternoon and therefore are not scheduled for a rehearsal this weekend. Please look ahead to their dress rehearsal schedule the following weekend on Saturday, December 12. We will remind you next week!

    5:30 - 7:00PM Purcell
    5:30 - 7:00PM Britten
    6:30 - 8:30PM Holst

Did you notice our dress rehearsals are not at Westgate? Please take a moment to click the First Congregational link which is an informative page of directions and parking information for our concert venue. (We will be back at Westgate when rehearsals resume in January.)

All singers should report directly to the sanctuary upon arrival. Please plan ahead and arrive a few minutes early so singers are ready to begin rehearsal at the times listed above. Parents are welcome to park and come inside to enjoy rehearsal. Singers should wear their regular school clothes to rehearsal--please do NOT wear concert wardrobe until the concert.

Dress rehearsals are required. If you need to report an absence or late arrival, please complete the on-line appeals form linked in the header section above. The best way to reach us during rehearsals is via the MYC cell phone: 608-770-7464.

Keep reading for all the details you need to know!

Looking Ahead to Concert Day

4:00pm Purcell, Britten, Holst and Ragazzi
7:00pm Choraliers, Con Gioia, and Capriccio

Thank you for helping us invite the community to this memorable day of music-making!

IMPORTANT: Everyone should be fitted for their concert wardrobe by now! If you have not yet been fitted for your concert wardrobe or something (all of a sudden) does not fit, please contact Alyssa TODAY.

Please be looking ahead at your singer's calendar, taking note of required dress rehearsal times and our concert venue location, First Congregational Church.
Concert call times will be published next week.

We still have concert volunteer opportunities available! Volunteers commit to arriving early and providing help to MYC staff and singer ensembles as needed while enjoying complimentary admission to the concert. You can view the opportunities in the sign up link below.

Cantilena Caroling, This Saturday, December 5
This is always a great afternoon together!
Please meet in the lobby of Madison Children's Museum (100 N Hamilton) at 11:45pm to begin caroling downtown at noon. Dress warmly! Even though temperatures are expected to be warm-ish on Saturday, you will be outside spreading cheer for 1-2 hours. Singers are encouraged to bring a few extra dollars for a treat after caroling. (This is a required performance. Please submit an absence form if you have an immovable, unavoidable conflict.)

Poinsettias
It's not too late to order poinsettias! We have mini's ($11) and regulars ($14) in white, pink, or red still available as well as a few white doubles ($25.50). Plants are available until our stock is sold. When submitting your order, please coordinate your desired delivery or pick up date with the MYC office so we can be sure there is enough lead time with Felly's to prepare your order. Please contact us with any questions. Thank you!
