Good morning Con Gioia, Cantabile and Ragazzi Families!

We are resending this information this morning to include the following additional details:
  • Singers should arrive having already eaten;
  • Bringing homework is a great idea for "down" time backstage

Thank you!

Our performance for the Out of the Shadows: Performing the Jewish Archives festival is this Thursday, May 5, at the Capitol Theater.

Please read through the details below and contact us with any questions.

Singers should arrive at the stage door of the Capitol Theater by 5:20pm and report directly to the stage for their 5:30pm rehearsal. The stage door entrance is on N Henry Street where W Dayton ends. Please note: this is NOT the security entrance for Overture Center that we use for the Christmas concerts. The Capitol Theater stage door entrance is also along N Henry Street but nearer the intersection with W Dayton. Singers may be simply be dropped off at the stage door--staff and parent volunteers will shepherd them inside.

What to Wear
Singers should arrive already dressed in their concert attire: black dress, hosiery and flat, black shoes for girls; tuxedo for Ragazzi.

Please bring your music.

Pick Up At the End of the Evening
Parents should meet their singers at the stage door entrance on N Henry St. where singers were dropped off. Pick up time is estimated to be 9pm (coinciding with the end of the concert--our singers perform the final piece).

Parent Volunteers
If you are available to help backstage for this event from 5pm through singer pick-up, please email Lynn. You will be able to see the concert from the "wings" backstage and enjoy hanging out with our delightful singers. Thank you for considering!

Tickets are available at the Overture Center Box Office and MYC families may purchase tickets for $5 using the purchase code "PJA" during check out.
