It's Concert Weekend With MYC!
Thank you for paying attention to the dress rehearsal and concert details provided below. We are looking forward to a tremendous weekend of music-making and are so proud of everyone's contributions. This was an especially thought-provoking semester for our singers and the concerts this weekend will reflect the rich discussions and poignant moments of connecting the big ideas in our rehearsals.

We appreciate everyone's commitment to making this a memorable weekend for our singers!

If you need to report an absence or late arrival, please complete the on-line absence form linked in the header section above. As a safety measure, if your singer is not checked in at dress rehearsal and we have not heard they will be absent, we will call you to verify the absence. The best way to reach us this weekend is via the MYC cell phone: 608-770-7464.

Keep reading for all the details you need to know!

Dress Rehearsals and Concerts This Weekend
Stage Door, Capitol Theater - at the intersection of W Dayton and N Henry. Look for MYC staff and the red MYC sign.

As a reminder, dress rehearsals are required in order to sing in the spring concert and an appeals form should be submitted if you have an immovable, unavoidable conflict.

Specific details were provided in a separate email on April 22. Please take a moment to review the information and your singer's calendar so you understand when they need to be at the Capitol Theater (downtown) on Saturday, May 7 and/or Sunday, May 8.

Call times listed below mean singers have already arrived and are on stage ready to rehearse. Please plan accordingly!

Madison Marathon and Brat Fest 2016
Sunshine! Bratwurst! Grilled corn!

Each year MYC provides dozens of volunteers for these events (both held on Memorial Day weekend) in exchange for a generous donation from Madison Festivals and the Brat Fest Foundation. By choosing MYC as your charity when you register, all funds earned can be applied toward your family's 2016-17 (next season's) fundraising contribution goal. We encourage you to consider working a shift or two to benefit MYC. Volunteer opportunities begin Monday, May 23, and end Wednesday, June 1. Please read through the information provided below and thank you for taking advantage of this (very fun!) opportunity to raise funds for MYC!
