Don't miss this workshop given by Carol Hassen and Bob Fisher on July 22 & 23!
This workshop is an overview of color and
color-combining strategies including simultaneous contrast, afterimage, elusive and transitory colors, contextual color perception and others. Projects will be collage-based using magazines and Albers Color Packs.
Participants will be exposed to numerous examples created by Josef Albers to help them understand that color is dependent on its surroundings and is not independent on its own. Also, participants will learn how we see color, what influences color, and how we respond to color.
Understanding color will help when creating artwork, designing your home, or creating important paperwork necessary in the 21st Century. Color is exciting and challenging.
