This Weekend With MYC
Sunday, November 29, regular rehearsals at our Westgate Studios

5:30 - 7:00PM Purcell | 5:30 - 7:00PM Britten | 6:30 - 8:30PM Holst*

Boys should report directly to the sanctuary upon arrival. Please allow extra time for traffic congestion as this can be a busy time in this neighborhood. Parents are welcome to park and come inside to enjoy rehearsal. Boys should wear their regular school clothes to rehearsal--please do NOT wear concert wardrobe until the concert.

*Holst, this rehearsal time has been altered slightly to end at 8:30PM (instead of 8:15PM as previously communicated.)

If you need to report an absence or late arrival, please complete the on-line absence form linked in the header section above. The best way to reach us during rehearsals is via the MYC cell phone: 608-770-7464.

Looking Ahead to Our December 13th Concerts
On Sunday, December 13, our singers will be presenting our winter concert series Inquiry: Science, Music, Imagination at First Congregational Church in Madison:

    1:30pm Cantilena, Cantabile, and Ragazzi
4:00pm Purcell, Britten, Holst and Ragazzi
7:00pm Choraliers, Con Gioia, and Capriccio

Everyone should be fitted for their wardrobe by now! If you have not yet been fitted for your concert wardrobe, please contact Alyssa.

Please be looking ahead at your singer's calendar, taking note of required dress rehearsal times and our concert venue location, First Congregational Church.

Are you interested in volunteering at our December 13th concerts? Volunteers commit to arriving early and providing help to MYC staff and singer ensembles as needed while enjoying complimentary admission to the concert. You can view the opportunities in the sign up link below.

MSO Reminders for Con Gioia, Cantabile, and Ragazzi
One week from tomorrow, on Wednesday, December 2, we begin our Madison Symphony Christmas collaboration at Overture Center for the Arts. Singers will be receiving, at rehearsals this weekend, their backstage pass as well as a hard copy of the primer that was emailed to families last week. Please keep your pass with your music so it's ready to show at security.  While we want everyone to take responsibility for their passes, please do not panic if it gets lost or damaged. MYC staff will be at security to help you. If you are absent this weekend, we will have a pass for you at security.

Discount coupons for tickets are still available and can be picked up from the MYC office or the rehearsal table this weekend.

Cantilena Caroling, Saturday, December 5
This is always a great afternoon together!
Please meet in the lobby of Madison Children's Museum (100 N Hamilton) at 11:45pm to begin caroling downtown at noon. Dress warmly! You will be outside spreading cheer for 1-2 hours. Singers are encouraged to bring a few extra dollars for a treat after caroling. (This is a required performance. Please submit an absence form if you have an immovable, unavoidable conflict.)
