Happy Tuesday, Scotland Tour Families, Chaperones and Staff!
We depart on our Scotland adventure in 64 days! We've had two amazingly productive rehearsals and are looking forward to seeing everyone again on Thursday, June 9 from 5-6pm for our required parent/singer meeting followed by rehearsal from 6-8:30pm (also required). Both of these events will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church on Segoe Road. (We will remind you!)

Thank you for reading this email thoroughly, paying attention to each deadline we publish and being responsive to our emails. This is a huge logistical undertaking and we appreciate your timely cooperation! As always, if you have questions, please ask.

Nifty Tour Wardrobe Items: Form Due by June 10
In addition to the Old Navy item already selected just for singers, each tour member--including chaperones and staff--is receiving six pieces of clothing, branded with our tour logo, as part of their official tour wardrobe:
  • two polos (one turquoise, one pink)
  • three T-shirts (dark grey, Galapagos blue, black)
  • and one (awesome) track jacket

These items are included in your tour price and participants will be asked to wear these pieces on specific days during the tour.

Please click on the Required Wardrobe Items button below and record the size and cut needed for each item no later than Friday, June 10.

Important: Please take care in selecting your size as we are unable to facilitate exchanges. We will have samples of all pieces in the MYC office later this week and we encourage everyone to prioritize stopping by to try on the samples to ensure accurate ordering. (When all pieces have arrived, we will send a quick email--most are here, just waiting on T-shirts.)

To summarize: you do NOT need to purchase anything but we DO need to receive from you (chaperones, singers and staff) the completed Required Wardrobe Item form linked below by Friday, June 10.

Supplemental Nifty Tour Wardrobe Items
Because we love our Scotland Tour logo, and we know you do, too, we put together a collection of items for anyone to purchase. This is not a fundraiser. The prices listed are within a few cents of the actual cost. Click on the link below to see the items, sizes offered and pricing. This order form is also due to the MYC office (with payment) no later than Friday, June 10. Please add up your items as you go, write a check for the total and deliver it to the office by June 10.

Very Important Tour Documents
Packets were distributed at rehearsal on Sunday and the documents are due by Friday, June 10. Please do not delay in getting started on these forms--especially the Consent for Minor Child to Travel form as it requires the notarized signature of both birth (or adoptive) legal parents/guardians. Please check in with your singer to make sure the packet arrived home. We will have a bin at the parent meeting on June 9 to collect completed forms for your convenience.

One of our alumni parents has generously volunteered to bring her notary seal to our June 9 parent/singer meeting and will be happy to notarize your Consent for Minor to Travel form that evening. Please remember that both parents must sign the consent form in the presence of a notary (separate forms may be used).

Are you a Notary Public or do you know one? Please let us know if you are willing to provide your Notary services beginning at 6pm on Thursday, June 9. Thanks!

Thank you for prioritizing this meeting. We promise it will be helpful and informative.
