Thank you for your continued support of Caridad Center, a place of hope and healing for thousands of working poor families throughout Palm Beach County.

It's easy to to be passionate about what we do here. Every day we experience that amazing feeling of changing someone’s life - maybe we’ve helped restore their vision and they can go back to work, or we’ve taught them how to prepare healthy meals and manage their chronic conditions, or we’ve provided one-time bridge money to pay their rent to assist them until they are well enough to return to work, or helping ensure children have backpacks and school uniforms, so they can start school on equal footing.

We don’t just provide medical services. We provide life changing opportunities. The hard part is seeing how much need truly exists in our community. It is easy to not see it if you don't want to. But that is why we are here and why we continue to cherish the support you so generously share.

We encourage you to learn more here in our new e-newsletter, and share it with anyone you think might be interested in becoming a part of our family. Thank you for all you do on behalf of the thousands of families we serve!
-Laura Kallus, CEO

Since 1992, when Connie Berry and Caridad Asensio opened a clinic in a small trailer, Caridad Center has worked to provide families with a resource for quality, free medical care and support. This summer, as the temperatures rise, so does the activity here, as we have officially broken ground on our $5 million capital campaign that will help  construct an 11,000-square-foot addition to the current facility, and enable us to accommodate 12,000 more patient visits a year!

We are proud of the history Caridad Center has of serving the uninsured working poor of Palm Beach County.  Our western Boynton Beach location has more than 26,000 visits a year; and the success of our mission is evident in our need for more space to provide services for the growing demand for health, dental and vision care.

We hope you’ll join us to improve the lives of residents and neighbors in Palm Beach County. Join us as we continue to grow!

Each gift made to the Capital Campaign will go towards:
  • 6 additional patient exam rooms
  • 3 additional dental rooms- one equipped for oral surgery
  • New eye clinic & up-to-date radiology room
  • Mental health counseling office & interview offices
  • Expanded waiting room
  • Outreach center for social services
  • Health education center
  • Second floor of office/meeting space
If you'd like to name a room in honor of a loved one or your family foundation, please contact Dolleen Ewing, 561.853.1638, Naming opportunities at different levels are still available!

"Caridad helps a lot of people. I’m so glad Caridad exists. It makes me feel like I can breathe by myself again. Otherwise, all the doors are going to be closed. Only Caridad opened the doors for me." -Ivan Segura, patient. To hear Ivan's story, click here
