Today, we are offering a new feature called Remote Technical Support Plus. Because you are already a Remote Technical Support customer, we are offering this new service to you for a one-time charge of $30.  You will not pay for the extra service again as long as you keep your RTS subscription current. Anyone who signs up for Remote Technical Support after June 30, 2017, will need to buy the Pro service each year they want to keep it.  But, if you purchase by June 30, 2017, you will pay just one time - not yearly.

Here's what you'll get with the Pro service (and why we're offering each  benefit.):

1)  A special phone # you can use to call or text us when we're closed.  When we're open, you'll use the normal 772-408-4425.  But, when we're closed - for whatever reason, you have a special number to reach us.  Please don't share this number with anyone else - only customers who have purchased the Pro plan will be eligible for after-hours phone service.  We are offering this because we're finding people in a panic with computer problems when we're closed and, when they call us, it just goes to voice mail because we're not in the office.

2) Up to 5 personal videos a year.  These videos will show you how to do something on your computer that's personalized just for you.  We're offering this because we often find people logging into Remote for the same issue simply because they've forgotten how to do something.  (Example:  someone this week logged in twice because they had forgotten how we showed them to change the zoom in Microsoft Edge.  With this benefit of Pro, we'd make a video showing you how to do what you wanted to do and the video would be on your computer - you could watch it as often as you'd like.

3) A 10% discount on new computer setup.  Our new computer setup which includes setting up the new computer, transferring your data from the old computer and then either delivering the new computer to your home or shipping it to you if you don't live on the Treasure Coast.  As of July 1, 2017, this charge will be $104.95 if you bought the computer from us or $114.95 if you bought the computer elsewhere.  If you have our Pro service, you'll get 10% off whichever charge applies.

4) A 10% discount on your next renewal of Remote Technical Support.  That means instead of paying $99.95, you'll pay $90.

Again, if you buy the Pro version of RTS before June 30, 2017, you'll buy it once and done - as long as you keep your regular subscription active.

Question of the Week

Question:  "I saw that you have done a number of Facebook Live presentations for your church.  Can I go live as well?"

Answer:  The answer to this week's question is: Yes, if you have a Facebook account in good standing, you can do a Facebook Live broadcast.  
You can go live from a smartphone or you can go live from your computer.  Rather than re-create the wheel - by explaining here how to do this - I'll refer you to Facebook's own page.  This page explains how to go Live and you'll find it HERE.

After you've finished a live broadcast, you'll have the option of posting the video or deleting it.
