Make Music Madison – June 21

Celebrate the Summer Solstice with Make Music Madison (MMM). MMM is a one-day citywide, free, musical experience held on June 21. Music lovers will generate a continuous wall of music to be enjoyed by everyone simultaneously throughout the city.  The festival will include performances at the airport and feature a variety of genres including Bluegrass, Irish, Folk, and Barbershop. Airport performances are scheduled throughout the day beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Retail Kiosk Opens At Gate 12

Paradies Shops has opened of a new retail kiosk at Gate 12  Featuring traditional newsstand items to specialized gift shop finds, refreshments, or last-minute must-haves, shoppers will find quality merchandise right before they board.  The kiosk will be open at peak arrival and departure times.
Delta expands Latin America Routes from ATL

Delta Air Lines will continue expanding its network in Latin America with service from its largest hub in Atlanta to Medellin and Cartagena, Colombia starting in December.
The route between Atlanta and Medellin will provide customers one-stop access to more than 200 destinations from Delta's largest hub, including key business destinations in Europe like London, Madrid, Paris and more. The Atlanta-Cartagena route presents customers with access to the Colombian Caribbean and its unique coastal cities.

The Honor Was All Ours

Just before dawn April 25, a chartered plane with more than 90 World War II and Korean War veterans departed for Washington, D.C. This VIP group was en route to a special tour of the war memorials and D.C. monuments. After returning 15 hours later, the heroes were greeted by shouts, cheers, music, and flags. For many, this was their first chance to tour Arlington Cemetery and other D.C. memorials. The Badger Honor Flight, part of a nationwide nonprofit organization, provides this life-changing memory at no cost to the veteran. Mobile Passports Arrive At O’Hare

Chicago O'Hare International Airport is the fourth facility in the United States to offer travelers the Mobile Passport Control (MPC) app, which speeds the return of U.S. citizens back into the country. The app is available in the iTunes and Google Play stores.

MPC is also available at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson, Miami and Seattle-Tacoma airports. An additional 34 airports around the world offer Automated Passport Control kiosks that allow travelers to submit their Customs declaration form and biographic information.
