Pacific Boychoir Academy: Host Families Needed
The Pacific Boychoir Academy from Oakland, California will be in Madison performing an evening concert on Wednesday, June 22, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Middleton.

Would you like to host a few boychoir members far from home? Please consider opening your home to host two or more boys overnight on Wednesday, June 22, through breakfast on Thursday morning. You do not need to be a boychoir family to host. All MYC families are invited!

Purcell, Britten and Holst will be joining the Pacific Boychoir that evening at St. Luke's and we hope to have as many boychoir members participate as possible. Please check your calendars and let us know via the absence form if you have a conflict. We are looking forward to an amazing night of music and new friendships!

Curious about hosting but not sure? Please click the link below, read through the information and contact Lisa Kjentvet with any questions. Thanks!
Opera for the Young: The Elixir of Love
We have a new Opera for the Young opportunity for all Con Gioia, Capriccio, Cantilena, Cantabile, Britten and Holst (treble only) singers. Opera for the Young is preparing to do their first-ever recording in Spanish for next season's tour of "The Elixir of Love." Mike Ross will be leading this project and we are looking for a group of singers who can commit to two rehearsals and the recording day. Here are the details:

Rehearsals at Westgate:
Monday, June 13 | 2:00-3:30pm
Tuesday, June 14 | 2:00-3:30pm

Recording date (location TBA):
Wednesday, June 15 | 12:00-1:30pm

Please RSVP by Friday, June 3 to Lisa Kjentvet with your singer's name and choir if you are interested and available for both rehearsals and the recording date. We may not have room for every singer that volunteers and will build the roster based on the needs of Opera for the Young. Once you volunteer we assume you have checked the dates and can commit to 100% participation. Lisa will confirm each participant once the list is final--thank you for your patience!

We are finalizing rosters and 2016-17 placements and registration information for new and returning singers will be sent to families via email by next Friday, June 10.
