Heritage University is pleased to present a selection of artwork from the Not Vanishing: Contemporary Expressions in Indigenous Art 1977-2015, originally curated by Gail Tremblay and Miles R. Miller and shown at the Museum of Northwest Art in LaConner, WA this past fall. Several of the artists featured are nationally and internationally renowned in addition to many emerging artists in the show.
Gregory Pierce, Chair of the Fine Art Department at Heritage University, has coordinated efforts with a variety of Museums, private lenders and artists in the region to bring several examples of traditional and historical works to strike a dialogue with the contemporary artwork in the exhibition
