Welcome to our Question of the Week Email!

Dear --FNAME--,

Just a reminder:  do NOT fall for the fake websites which can pop up on your computer telling you that your computer is infected and directing you to call a number on the screen.  These people are scam artists - they are NOT Microsoft or Apple.  Do NOT call the number - call us instead.  (772-408-4425)

If you live on the Treasure Coast, we hope to see you Saturday at our seminar in Jensen Beach.  Get all the details below.

Take care!

April Seminar
Our April Seminar will be held THIS Saturday, April 8, 2017.  The subject is "Go Ahead, Make My Day" and it will be from 10:00 a.m.-12 Noon at Trinity United Methodist Church in Jensen Beach, FL. Our seminars are still only $8 per person.  Get all the details, including driving directions, by clicking on the Seminar picture above.
As I've mentioned in the past, Joyce and I love giving personalized gifts because... well, you just can't buy them off the shelf in a store.  Once personalized, they are keepsakes forever.  Ornaments.com is another site we use often.  Click on the image below to visit their site and check out the things you can get personalized for Easter - or any other time of the year!

Question of the Week

Question:  "I hear there's another Windows 10 coming out.  What's this all about?"

Answer:  First, I apologize to our Mac users for answering a Microsoft-only question.  Still, it's always nice to know what's going on in "the other computer world!"

Yes, there's another version of Windows 10 coming out starting on April 11, 2017.  This will be the third major version of the operating system.  The last upgrade was in August of 2016 and was called "The Anniversary Edition."

This newest version is called the "Creators Edition."  This edition will add a lot of features including 3-D, better gaming, night light, mini screen and improvements to Microsoft Edge.  You can read more about it HERE.

This will be an update which will probably take an hour or more to download and install.  You won't need to do anything - it will download in the background and eventually let you know when it's ready to install.

By the way, although the upgrade will begin to be pushed out from Microsoft on April 11th, it could take days, weeks or maybe a month or more before it reaches your computer.  You can imagine how many Windows 10 machines are operating in the world so upgrading them is a time-consuming task.

Any questions once the upgrade push begins, just let us know.
