Poinsettia Sale Begins
Need help getting started? MYC retains sales information from past years and will gladly pass along former singer leads to interested families. Businesses you frequent are a great place to start and this week is perfect timing as they are already thinking about their holiday decorations.

Our initial deadline for submitting orders for delivery the week before and after Thanksgiving is Monday, November 9. Poinsettias are offered in pink, white or red in four sizes ranging in price from $11 - $36. They are supplied by Felly's Greenhouse and are guaranteed. Families earn $5 per plant sold, regardless of size, toward their fundraising goal. Please read through the information sheet before you begin selling and contact the MYC office with any questions you may have.

Questions? Please ask!

The final opportunity for a drop-in Ragazzi tux fitting is this Sunday, October 25, from 4:00-4:45pm (before your 5pm rehearsal). Thank you for arriving early and making this a priority. (We will not begin any fittings past 4:45pm.)

Drop-in boychoir fittings for Purcell, Britten and Holst are scheduled for this Monday, October 26, from 3:00PM to 5:00PM and also next week on Monday, November 2, from 3:00PM to 5:00PM. Please choose one day that works best for your family and plan to allow 20 minutes (sometimes more) to be fitted. We encourage you to come as early as possible to avoid the 5pm bottleneck. (We will not begin any fittings past 5pm.)

All wardrobe pieces you have outgrown should be returned to MYC as soon as possible. (This means you should try everything on!) Ragazzi singers who have not yet turned in their Holst wardrobe, please do so this week!

Inquiry: Science, Music and Imagination
There are endless ways we (MYC) could talk about the idea of inquiry and specifically how science, music and imagination feed our curiosity about the world. Our conductors are leading rich discussions each week in rehearsal and our singers are contributing with their thoughtful observations. But what do scientists have to say about these ideas we're exploring this semester?

We were curious so we asked a few questions and took a camera along just for fun.
Please enjoy the first in a series of video interviews with a few of our scientist friends:
