National Travel & Tourism Week

May 1-7, 2016 is National Travel & Tourism Week.  The Greater Madison Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) and Madison Area Sports Commission (MASC) are celebrating in a big way -- because tourism is big business for the Greater Madison community.

Every year, travelers who visit Dane County for business, leisure, convention, and sporting events contribute more than $2.0 billion in total business spending, which supports more than 20,000 full-time equivalent jobs in Dane County.

We're offering sweet treats to travelers throughout the week, so simply stop by the Visitor Information desk near the baggage claim area to join the celebration.  For details on all there is to see and do in Madison, check out visitmadison.com.
