Breaking news: Video reveals Planned Parenthood sells parts  of aborted babies
Warning! This undercover video is highly disturbing and not appropriate for young children.
The clear take-away is that Planned Parenthood is involved in illegal activity on two counts: selling human body parts and using the legally banned partial birth abortion method to obtain those parts. Morally we know that PP will answer to God for every life they have taken through abortion. They already make money killing babies, now they have added to that heinous sin the selling of the bodies of those babies by the piece. It is God's place to judge the participants, but the Church has a responsibility to cry out in defense of those being carried away to death!

"Deliver those who are drawn toward death, and hold back those stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, 'Surely we did not know this,' does not He who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will He not render to each man according to his deeds?" (Proverbs 24:11-12) NKJ

Follow developments on Twitter hastag #PPsellsbabyparts. Pray with me about how Christians might stand against this atrocity. Write your legislators and urge them to investigate Planned Parenthood.

Kevin M Smith, Pastor of New City Fellowship in Chattanooga, TN, asked this challenging question in a sermon at the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in America, June 10, 2015.

Text: Matt 5:21-22 & Exodus 20:13

"A Pro-life movement tied to the Republican Party is not pro-life enough," began Pastor Smith. The Sixth Commandment is our "pro-life mandate," he stated. We need a "robust and biblically centered" pro-life movement that addresses not only abortion on demand but a number of other issues as well.

Notes from a sermon by Dirk Lesnett, Elfinwild Presbyterian Church (PCUSA), June 14, 2015, Glenshaw, PA

Text: Leviticus 19:32 "You shall stand up before the gray head and honor the face of an old man, and you shall fear your God: I am the LORD."

"White haired persons are to be respected and honored."
That's what the Leviticus text means says Dirk Lesnett, Pastor of Elfinwild Presbyterian Church, Glenshaw, PA. He referenced a phrase coined by Tom Brokaw during NBC's coverage of a D-Day memorial, "The Greatest Generation." Brokaw's book by that title describes a generation united by a common goal and common values of duty, honor, economy, courage, service, love of family and country, and responsibility for self.

Does immodest dress of women lead to abortion?
A Christian brother recently asked me to tell young girls to dress modestly. His point was that immodest dress leads to abortion. I agree that women, young and old, dress too often in ways that are inappropriate, immodest, and shocking both inside and outside the church. That fact does create a very difficult environment for men of every age.

Is it over the top to say that the immodesty of young women leads to an increase in abortion? It seems demeaning to both men and women to reduce their ability to make responsible decisions to the way a woman dresses.

A Christian woman should want to project an image that reflects the life of Christ in her more than she wants to attract lustful glances from men. A Christian man should discipline his lust and treat women as sisters in Christ reflecting the self-sacrificing love of Christ--no matter how they dress. Women of every age ought to take care to dress and act in ways that lead others toward Christ and not toward lust, while exuding the joyful freedom provided by the grace of Jesus Christ. I commend this article to my Christian brother and to the ‘young girls’ he wishes me to address on the topic of modesty. And Christian dads, love your daughters in a way that lets them know they are precious for who they are not how they look. And let us all in the church teach boys and girls to find their identity in Christ not in feelings or the admiration of others.

Few things have wrenched my heart like the plight of the young women and girls abducted from their Nigerian school by Boko Haram and violently and repeatedly raped and impregnated by terrorists. I have not written about it before because the horror these girls have experienced leaves me wordless, stunned, grieving. But, now many of those girls have returned, pregnant, and are once again facing victimization by those who would use them to further the cause of abortion rights.
