Sharing Smiles and Building Momentum for MYC
As we are all settled in to our virtual rehearsal routine on Sundays, there's a palpable sense of what we are all looking forward to when we can be together again, singing in the same room. We would love to capture that hopefulness and sense of anticipation and share it on social media this fall as a way to encourage support and build momentum for MYC's future.

Our families are our most valuable advocates and we'd love your help with this project. No doubt your singer already has an idea of how to finish this sentence:  "When we can be together again, in person..I won't be able to stop smiling"; or "..it's going to be amazing." Think about what it's going to be like and share your words with all of us!

We would love to feature our smiling MYC families on our Facebook and Instagram pages with singers holding up a sign featuring their own answer to the prompt: "When we can be together again, in person __________". Singers could also do a short video completing the prompt (cell phone video works great).

When we post the submissions, we'll add the hashtag #mycyousoon and the closing line "Support MYC today so we'll be here tomorrow, together" and include a donation button on the post.

Thanks for considering submitting a photo or video for this project sometime in the next two weeks. We're hoping to start posting submissions in mid-November. Questions? Please ask! We look forward to flooding our page with your enthusiasm and your smiling faces. Submissions can be emailed to nicole@madisonyouthchoirs.org

is holding their first annual telethon this Saturday, November 14 starting at 1pm. This fundraiser and friend-raiser will feature local, regional, and international artists and advocates – making art, playing music, talking about the importance of the arts, and sharing performances. The telethon is designed to share the mission of ARTS for ALL Wisconsin and raise support as more people with disabilities than ever are vulnerable and at risk of losing educational opportunities and connections.
