 Fort Worth sent nearly 100 student athletes, coaches, leaders, and parents to Reggio Emilia, Italy for the 5th Tricolore Sports Games​ August 24-31.

​Seven Harashin scholar students and 2 teachers traveled to Nagaoka July 26-August 5 for a reciprocal exchange. The Japanese students were here August 7-15.

​♦ International Rotary Scholars Bogdana Oliyinik and Nayelly Dominguez made a presentation to the Rotary Club of Fort Worth’s International Services committee this month. These Student Ambassadors led their delegation in a service project at the Tambatan Hati Orphanage in Bandung where they provided scholarships to two students enabling them to attend high school. The funds for the scholarships were provided by the Rotary Club, Fort Worth Sister Cities, and delegation leader Jay Kurima.

♦ University of Swaziland student Samkeliso Silindza spent the day shadowing Sam Steele and the City of Fort Worth Property Management Department. He learned all about our city’s Sustainability projects. Many thanks to Sam Steele and his department for hosting him.
