2017-18 Placements and Registration
Singer placement information and invitations for next season will be emailed to families today, Thursday, June 8. Tuition statements will follow on Friday, June 9.

Registration forms will be attached to your placement email and should be printed, updated, signed and returned to MYC by July 13. Please review your forms carefully making sure that names are spelled correctly, birth date, school, and grade information is all correct and that we have accurate email addresses for everyone needing to be in the loop. Simply cross out and update with a pen or pencil. We have significantly reduced the amount of information requested and appreciate your patience as we work on moving our registration to a web-based process (hopefully for 2018-19!).

Forms and tuition payments may be dropped off at our office or mailed by July 13. Questions? Please ask!

Turning in Music and Wardrobe
Music
Please double-check to see if your singer still has music in their binder. Music can be returned to the MYC office at any time (use the bin or wire basket outside the door if we are closed). Thank you for labeling with your singer's name and ensemble.

Wardrobe
Please return your MYC wardrobe if:
  • you are not singing with us next season (full concert attire plus MYC red polo)
  •  your 2017-18 choir placement results in a new concert wardrobe; Con Gioia to Capriccio; Capriccio to Cantilena or Holst to Ragazzi (just concert wardrobe, please keep red polo for next season)
  • any items no longer fit

All pieces being turned in should be labeled with your singer's name so they can be properly checked in. Thank you!

Boychoir & Girlchoir Host Families Still Needed
We are close! Just six more families are needed to provide overnight hosting to the visiting Heartland Youth Choir on Tuesday, June 13. Con Gioia is the official choir hosting the event but all boychoir families (and all MYC families, regardless of ensemble) are invited to also host and participate in the evening concert (singing Blowin' in the Wind!).

Singers will come together at 5pm for singing, activities and dinner prior to the 7pm concert at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Middleton. Host families will return their visiting choristers the next morning to Westgate after providing breakfast (and a good night's sleep!). Thank you for opening your home! Questions? Please email Lisa Kjentvet.
