Boychoir Wardrobe Fittings This Monday

Monday, October 17 or October 24
2:30 - 5:00pm
For: new and returning singers in Purcell, Britten and Holst who need to be fitted (or refitted) for their concert wardrobe. (Please return all wardrobe pieces that no longer fit to the MYC office.)

Please note: boychoir fittings will end promptly at 5pm so the room can be set for 5:30 rehearsal. Thank you for planning accordingly! Please allow at least 15 minutes to be fitted.

Singers in Ragazzi, Choraliers, Con Gioia, Capriccio, Cantilena or Cantabile who have not yet been fitted for their concert wardrobe will need to set up a fitting  appointment during office hours (M-F, 9-5). Please email Alyssa to schedule your appointment as soon as possible.

PLEASE CONSIDER LENDING A HAND! Opportunities to help with boychoir fittings are detailed in the sign up linked below. Having a few extra parents in the room is extremely helpful. Thank you!
Please Return Your Wardrobe!
Please return last season's concert wardrobe to the MYC office as soon as possible if:
  • it no longer fits
  • you moved choirs and your NEW ensemble is Capriccio, Cantilena or Ragazzi

Please mark your returning wardrobe with your name (masking tape works great). Red MYC polos should be returned only if they no longer fit.

Current Capriccio singers who traveled to Scotland should return their Scotland tour dress.

Wardrobe can be brought to Westgate during office hours or to rehearsals this weekend.
Poinsettia Sale Begins
Hallowe'en is just around the corner which means businesses are already planning their holiday decorations. It's time to begin selling poinsettias! Our annual plant sale begins today with order forms available on our website and linked below. We will also have a small supply of paper forms at the rehearsal table this weekend.

NEW THIS YEAR: Electronic ordering via the links on our website. (Paper order forms still available!)

A few details to get you started:
Our poinsettias are supplied by Felly's Greenhouse and are guaranteed. They are beautiful plants that last well beyond the holidays. We sell three colors--pink, white, and red in four sizes ranging in price from $12-$37. Families earn $5 per plant sold, regardless of size, toward their fundraising goal. Plants are available until our stock is sold out but our initial deadline for submitting orders is November 15 so Felly's has time to prepare the orders. Please read through the information sheet before you begin selling and please contact the MYC office with any questions you may have.

MYC retains sales information from past years and will gladly pass along former singer leads to interested families. If you sold to businesses last year and need your contact information, please let us know--we can easily provide past order information to make your pitch as simple as possible.

Questions? Please ask!

Discount Coupons For
A Madison Symphony Christmas

One coupon may be used for multiple ticket purchases which means only one coupon is needed per family. As in past years, coupons can only be used in person at the Overture Center Box Office.
