Spring Break Schedule
Sunday, March 28 - no rehearsals
Sunday, April 4 - no rehearsals
(MYC office will be closed next week.)
Sunday, April 11 - We return to our regular Zoom rehearsal schedule

When we resume our Zoom rehearsals on April 11, we hope to share a possible schedule for optional in-person, socially-distanced outdoor ensemble meetings in May. Watch this space for those details--we are cautiously optimistic we can make this happen and would love to be together (in three dimensions), hearing everyone's voices at least once before we break for the summer.

Input invited on future rehearsal schedules
There are many considerations as we look ahead to fall 2021 and everything that will be possible with our new space at MYA (Madison Youth Arts). We're excited to be at this point where we can truly envision the reality of having a permanent home for MYC and the real possibility of being in-person again.

One of those considerations is exploring how best to utilize the space for scheduling MYC's weekly rehearsals. Please know we are planning for multiple scenarios around public health considerations, but assuming we can safely meet in person, we want to plan a schedule that best serves our families. Thank you for completing the short survey linked below and being part of the exciting process of looking forward to our fall programming!

Spring Introductory Choir Registration Now Open
Our spring session of introductory choir begins Sunday, April 11, and will run for eight weeks through June 6 (no class Memorial Day weekend). Introductory choir is designed for students ages 7-10 to explore vocal technique, music theory, and rehearsal skills in a small class environment designed to develop skills and prepare students for singing in a larger group ensemble with confidence. Some students enroll multiple times as each session is different repertoire and can be a stand-alone experience of music exploration. Our spring session will meet Sunday afternoons via Zoom from 3-3:30pm. Learn more on our Join a Choir page.
