Fall is finally here and CRPR is super excited to offer some of the best fall activities around! This e-newsletter is filled with local traditions for the whole family as well as some new events to spook (I mean spark) your interest!

Wednesday, October 14
7-8:30 pm

CRPR and Schlow Library welcome storytellers to Sunset Park to weave tales of the season. Bring your blankets, hot cocoa and your imagination!

Stories are family friendly and get a little scarier as the evening progresses. In case of inclement weather, event is held at a location to be determined. 
Saturday, October 17
1-3 pm

Gather your supplies and let your imaginations soar as you plan to build the best Guardian of the Garden! We provide straw, string and bags; you provide the rest. Only $15/scarecrow per team (pre-registered) or $20/scarecrow per team (walk-ins).

1st Place - $100 Visa Gift Card
2nd Place - $50 Visa Gift Card
3rd Place - $50 Visa Gift Card

69th Annual Halloween Parade Sunday, October 25

Grab your family and friends and come out for the CRPR Halloween Costume Parade on Sunday, October 25. Get your creative juices flowing to create (or buy) the best costume you can! Check out the costume categories HERE and mark your calendars. 

You don’t want to miss this longstanding community tradition -  a fabulous way to start your Halloween festivities.  The State College Lions Club will award Prizes in each category and distribute free Treat Bags to all participants! 
  Line Up -  6:30 pm  (On Burrowes Rd on the PSU campus)
  Step Off  - Promptly at 7 pm

Friday, October 30
6-9 pm

Visit the Senior Center (now at the Nittany Mall!) for an evening of spooktacular fun at the 2nd Annual “Carn-EVIL”. Come and enjoy festive games, treats and a few scares throughout the night to get you ready for Halloween!
