Dear Campers, Families, Volunteers, and Partners,

We write with heavy hearts to inform you that we will not be hosting our in-person Camp Sparkle this summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This decision was painful to make and we know many will share in our feeling of disappointment. We have all experienced so much loss throughout this pandemic. But during this unprecedented time, we have to put our responsibility for the health and safety of our cancer community first.

That said, we are not wavering in our commitment to families impacted by cancer. Now, more than ever, we are doubling down on our mission to cultivate healing, joy, and friendship for kids and families. You will not go through this summer alone.
We are excited to announce the launch of
Virtual Camp Sparkle!

How it works:
  • All programs and events will be available via Zoom or on our Cancer Pathways Youtube channel.
  • Online links will be sent out via email to registered families.
  • Families who have registered for the 2020 session of camp will be automatically enrolled in these programs.
  • Camp events are scheduled by geographic region, but kids are invited to participate in any of the events scheduled throughout the summer, regardless of the week they were signed up for.
Virtual Camp Sparkle Activities:
Pen Pals
Virtual Talent Shows
Virtual Show and Tells
Online Camp Activities
Digital Scrapbook
Family Support Groups
More information about Virtual Camp Sparkle activities, including dates and how to participate, will be sent to registered families.

We will get through this together.

All my best,
Maddie Ritter, LICSW
Camp Sparkle Director
