David Lynx & Dr. Tim Jeske
February 7, 2018; 7 pm @ Kendall Hall

In December 2016, instructors David Lynx and Dr. Timothy Jeske flew to India to visit the four pilgrimage sites associated with the Buddha. What they encountered was a myriad of religions, including Sikh, Muslim, Jain, Bahá'í, and various Hindu faiths. The experience of the country and the many friends they made along the journey, tell a story of enlightenment. Free and open to the public.

Even if I don't have a show coming up, I have a compulsion to make art. I like to "work large". For 22 years I spent time every year in a condo in Hawaii which restricted me to smaller pastels, watercolors, and drawings. Some of the pieces in this show are from that era, beautifully matted and framed by Jackie Prout and most have not been shown. The larger oils are more recent up to last month. -Delma
