Projected Springtime Management of Island Park Reservoir

As we mentioned on April 1, while average snowpack is good news, the cumulative effects of four dry years on stream flow will continue to be felt this spring and summer. Which is why spring-time runoff into Island Park Reservoir is predicted to average 621 cfs, about 71% of average. But, compared to last year’s 485 cfs, a paltry 56% of average, 2016 is looking good.

We also promised a blog with more details, so check out Rob's latest blog if you want to know more about projected springtime management of Island Park Reservoir.

Boise Dinner and Auction Hits A New Record

The Henry’s Fork Foundation’s Boise event was a great success! Thank you to our dedicated supporting members and also to the new faces showing support in the Boise area. We had our best turnout to date with just a little over 230 people in attendance! It was a fun filled night full of great auction items, an entertaining keynote speaker, Jon Stiehl, and memories made visiting with friends to support a great cause.

Special thanks to our Boise committee for their hard work and participation to ensure this event happens! We appreciate everyone who attended and all those who donate and show their support to the Henry’s Fork Foundation.
