CITY UPDATES
 
 
 
 
♦ ​Youth ambassadors were selected for spring exchange to Italy.
♦ ​The Reggio Committee is planning 2 exchanges that will revolve around Reggio's Tricolore Sports Games in August and September of 2015. The first exchange will be for student athletes to compete in the games and the second exchange will be for adults to attend the closing ceremony and travel to Milan for the World Expo. Check back soon for details.
 
 
 
♦ The Trier committee is working with Alcon-Novartis on securing a logistics engineering internship for a university student from Trier. If he is accepted as an intern, he will work with Alcon’s supply chain and will be here from April-June. Host families are needed so please let us know if you are interested.
 
 
 
♦ Youth ambassadors are preparing for their summer exchanges to Japan.
♦ The annual Oshogatsu celebration is scheduled for January 27 at the Lena Pope Foundation. Click here to purchase tickets.
 
 
 
Sister Cities will be sending Youth Ambassadors to Bandung, Indonesia in 2015 for the first time in many years to explore this unique culture. ​
 
 
 
♦ Youth ambassadors are preparing for their spring exchange to Hungary.
 
 
 
♦ High school students from Toluca visited Trinity Valley School for a cultural exchange November 25-December 15.
 
 
 
♦ An adult exchange to Swaziland and South Africa, celebrating the 10 year anniversary of our sister city partnership with Mbabane, is slated for May of 2015. Click here to reserve your spot.
 
 
 
♦ The Guiyang group will be planning the 5th anniversary exchange to Guiyang in 2016.  If interested in joining the group or planning the tour, contact Beth Weibel at 817-632-7105.
 
 
 
Youth ambassadors attended an orientation in December to prepare for their spring and summer exchanges. ​
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped man the photo booth for pictures with Santa in Sundance Square. Our volunteers raised over $30,000 which will help fund Sister Cities youth scholarships and programs.​
