CITY UPDATES
 
 
 
 
♦ Early childhood education experts from Reggio Children held a seminar on the Reggio approach to education in Fort Worth on November 4 at Christ Chapel Bible Church that was attended by approximately 100 educators from all over the state.
♦ ​Youth ambassadors were selected for spring exchange to Italy.
 
 
 
♦ The Trier committee is working with Alcon-Novartis on securing a logistics engineering internship for a university student from Trier. If he is accepted as an intern, he will work with Alcon’s supply chain and will be here from April-June. Host families are needed for him so please let us know if you are interested in home hosting.
 
 
 
♦ Youth ambassadors were selected for summer exchanges to Japan.
♦ Our annual Oshogatsu celebration is scheduled to occur January 27 at the Lena Pope Foundation. Click here to buy tickets.
 
 
 
♦ Youth ambassadors were selected for summer exchange to Indonesia.
 
 
 
♦ Youth ambassadors were selected for spring exchange to Hungary.
 
 
 
An official delegation traveled to Toluca last month to attend government and business meetings as well as to celebrate Dia de los Muertos​.
♦ High school students from Toluca visited Trinity Valley School for a cultural exchange November 25-December 15.
 
 
 
♦ An adult exchange to Swaziland, celebrating the 10 year anniversary of our sister city partnership with Mbabane, is being planned for April of 2015. 
 
 
 
♦ Youth ambassadors were selected for summer exchange to China.
 
 
 
♦ FYI is still accepting volunteer sign-ups for photos with Santa at Sundance Plaza in November and December. Email beth@fwsistercities.org to sign up.
♦ Youth ambassadors were selected for spring and summer exchanges and will attend an orientation on Dec. 7.
