Parent Meeting and June 9 Rehearsal Reminders
Thursday, June 9, is the required parent/singer meeting at Covenant Presbyterian Church, from 5-6pm. Please make sure at least one parent is in attendance. Singers will attend this meeting with their parent(s) then proceed to rehearsal (also required) which will end at 8:30pm.

Singers:
  • please plan to eat dinner before arriving for the meeting
  • don't forget to bring your completed voice part assignment sheet

Parents:
  • Don't forget to bring your Very Important Documents! (Due Friday!) If you haven't already notarized the Consent for Minor to Travel form, we will have notaries on hand after the meeting. All documents in your packet need to be returned: if no prescriptions are being taken, please write N/A on the form, sign it and return with the other documents.

IMPORTANT: Singers who are waiting until Thursday to try on the sample wardrobe, need to arrive at least 30 minutes before the meeting begins as there will not be time after the meeting for singers to take care of this task. Again, we strongly encourage you to stop by the office before Thursday to try on the sample pieces and make your size and cut selections. We are here Monday through Wednesday this week from 9am to 5pm. (Wardrobe will be available in the office on Thursday from 9am to 3:30pm and then that evening at the meeting between 4:30 and 5:00pm.)

Hemming help needed. If you get excited about neat and tidy stitches all in a row (you know who you are), and have some extra time to devote to The Great Hemming Project of Summer 2016, please contact Alyssa. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Old Navy Items will be ready for pick up at the meeting on Thursday.
Please:
  • keep all original packaging
  • try on your item(s) at home
  • return what doesn't fit with original packaging to the MYC office by Thursday, June 16, properly labeled with your name along with an email to Alyssa with specific instructions on size needed for the exchange. Questions? Please email Alyssa. Thanks!

We'll talk more about this on Thursday! Have fun perusing the brochure. (Mike also updated the tour website with this information.)

Nifty Tour Wardrobe Items: Form Due by June 10
In addition to the Old Navy item already selected just for singers, each tour member--including chaperones and staff--is receiving six pieces of clothing, branded with our tour logo, as part of their official tour wardrobe:
  • two polos (one turquoise, one pink)
  • three T-shirts (dark grey, Galapagos blue, black)
  • and one (awesome) track jacket

These items are included in your tour price and participants will be asked to wear these pieces on specific days during the tour.

Please click on the Required Wardrobe Items button below and record the size and cut needed for each item no later than Friday, June 10.

Important: Please take care in selecting your size as we are unable to facilitate exchanges. Samples of all pieces are in the MYC office and we encourage everyone to prioritize stopping by to try on the samples to ensure accurate ordering.

To summarize: you do NOT need to purchase anything but we DO need to receive from you (chaperones, singers and staff) the completed Required Wardrobe Item form linked below by Friday, June 10.

Supplemental Nifty Tour Wardrobe Items
Because we love our Scotland Tour logo, and we know you do, too, we put together a collection of items for anyone to purchase. This is not a fundraiser. The prices listed are within a few cents of the actual cost. Click on the link below to see the items, sizes offered and pricing. This order form is also due to the MYC office (with payment) no later than Friday, June 10. Please add up your items as you go, write a check for the total and deliver it to the office by June 10.

Very Important Tour Documents
Documents are due by Friday, June 10. We will have a bin at the parent meeting on June 9 to collect completed forms for your convenience.

Several parents have generously volunteered to bring their notary seals to our June 9 parent/singer meeting and will be happy to notarize your Consent for Minor to Travel form that evening. Please remember that both parents must sign the consent form in the presence of a notary (separate forms may be used).

Each form in the packet should be returned.
