Not too Late to Start!
With just over two weeks to go until turn-in day, it's NOT too late to get started. A Facebook fundraiser or email appeal produces almost immediate results. Read through the information packet, follow the steps and you'll see how easy it is!

Choraliers is currently leading the participation race at a robust 51% with Cantilena and Holst at 26% and 25% respectively.

Surprise! Everyone who turns in their purple participation slip verifying they've written a letter/email/Facebook appeal and contacted at least one person outside their immediate family will be entered to win a $50 Amazon gift card. All tickets submitted by March 9 will be eligible for the drawing.

Congratulations to everyone who has gotten off to a fast start! As we move toward turn-in day on March 22/23, please be sure you are recording your donations (from all sources) on your tracking sheet.

Say thank you! This is so important! MYC is also providing a thank you along with a receipt but a note from you is the most meaningful.

Quick Reminders:
A donor record form is required for all donations made by check. It's easiest for all if donations are made online via the button on the IMC webpage--no donor form required for online donations as all the information is collected electronically. Don't forget to include the link if you're sending an email!

If you are starting a Facebook fundraiser please follow the specific instructions we provided in the Family Guide (also linked on our website).

Once you've contacted at least one person outside of your immediate family, sign the purple participation form in your packet and bring it to rehearsal this weekend to be entered into the Amazon gift card drawing.

Not sure whether to use a letter, email or Facebook appeal?
Consider your audience. You know them best.
_______________________________
Because tuition covers less than 50% of the total cost of participation, fundraising is a necessary part of MYC membership. We count on families to embrace their contribution goal each year to help cover the tuition gap. Updated statements were emailed to families last week--thank you for paying attention to your fundraising progress, setting a goal, and participating!

Calling All Coffee Lovers
If you enjoyed the coffee we served at our open house rehearsals, you're not alone! We have the opportunity to have coffee available during rehearsals for parents who are using the lounge area to read or work. If you are interested in learning how to make the coffee at CPC for MYC, please let us know and we'll get you trained! You're not committing to doing it every week--just when you are there for rehearsals and if you have time. This is an option for both Sunday and Monday night rehearsals. Interested? Please email us!
