Thank You for Joining Us!
It was great seeing many of you join our open house rehearsals last weekend. We hope you enjoyed the experience (along with the cake and the coffee!). As a reminder, all of our performing choir rehearsals are always "open." Feel free to slip in and out as you wish to get a peek at the process as we move through the semester.

Thanks again to True Coffee Roasters for providing the delicious coffee!
Participation Celebration!
We'll be celebrating participation this weekend at rehearsals. if you've sent an email, started a Facebook fundraiser, or written a letter, it's time to turn in your Purple Participation Ticket or bring in your actual appeal to share during rehearsal!

Surprise! Everyone who turns in their purple participation slip verifying they've written a letter/email/Facebook appeal and contacted at least one person outside their immediate family will be entered to win a $50 Amazon gift card. We'll start collecting purple tickets this weekend--all tickets submitted by March 9 will be eligible for the drawing. Congratulations to everyone who has gotten off to a fast start!

What To Do This Week:
  • Read the Family Guide for inspiration and set a goal for starting your fundraiser.
  • Finalize how you will tell your story and who you will contact. Are you writing a letter? Sending an email? Setting up a Facebook fundraiser?  However you decide to communicate, this is the week to do the hard work of organizing your thoughts, deciding who to contact, and writing your appeal. Once this is done, the rest is easy!
  • It's not too late to get started! Pull out the Family Guide, make a plan, and participate!

Donor Records
Each check that is submitted needs to be accompanied by a donor record form. If your donor has not filled out the form electronically, please pick up a green donor record form from the rehearsal table (or download from the website) and include with any checks you are submitting. Questions? Please ask!
Because tuition covers less than 50% of the total cost of participation, fundraising is a necessary part of MYC membership. We count on families to embrace their contribution goal each year to help cover the tuition gap. Updated statements were emailed to families last week--thank you for paying attention to your fundraising progress, setting a goal, and participating!
