Fly-Fishing Camp!

Did you know Centre County has some of the best trout streams in the world? Campers learn the lifelong hobby of fly-fishing with hands-on instruction from patient local fly-fishers while fishing local ponds and world renowned streams. Casting, fly-tying, stream reading and stream ethics are just a few of the techniques campers learn throughout the week. Rods, reels, tying kits and fly materials are provided for use during camp. Campers should dress for the weather, bring protective eyewear (sunglasses) and pack a snack and water bottle. A Swim Evaluation will be scheduled for campers.
