​♦ 14 students, 2 Delegation Leaders, and 1 Associate Delegation Leader were selected for the March exchange to Italy.
♦Early childhood development specialists from Reggio Emilia visited Fort Worth for the Reggio Approach to Education Conference at Tarrant County College on November 21.

​​♦ 11 students, 2 Delegation Leaders, and 1 Associate Delegation Leader were selected for the March exchange to Germany.
 
 
 
♦20 students and 2 Delegation Leaders were selected for the June exchange to Japan.
​8 students and 2 Delegation Leaders were selected for the Harashin exchange to Japan in August.

​​♦ Thank you to Nancy, Jennifer, and Jacqueline Lopez for sharing their Indonesian culture with the 400 middle school students from the Generation Hope Laptop program on December 5.

The Budapest Committee is having a gathering with Hungarian wine and treats at the home of Budapest Chair Greg Jackson on December 1.
 
 
 
♦ Sister Cities partnered with the Women’s Policy Forum on a special women’s symposium in Toluca, Mexico October 28-November 1.
​♦ 9 students, 2 Delegation Leaders, and 1 Associate Delegation Leader were selected for the March exchange to Mexico.

The Mbabane Committee is sad to share the news of the passing of Rev. Albert Chew. He was the founder of the Black Ecumenical Leadership Alliance who provided scholarships for over 50 students from Mbabane to visit Fort Worth for the International Leadership Academy since 2005.

 
 
 
The Guiyang Committee is planning the 5th anniversary exchange to Guiyang in June 2016.  If interested in joining the group or learning more about the tour, contact Beth Weibel at 817-632-7105.

​♦Members of the Guiyang Committee enjoyed a Chinese cuisine tasting at Cannon Chinese Kitchen on November 17.
 
 
 
​♦ 76 students were selected to travel to 6 of Fort Worth's sister cities in 2016.
​♦ Head down to Sundance Square Plaza this month for photos with Santa. All proceeds benefit Sister Cities youth programs and scholarships.
