Badger Honor Flight

Wisconsin Veterans Honored

The final honor flight of 2014 departed the Dane County Regional Airport just before dawn on October 18, with more than 90 veterans. This VIP group was en route to a special tour of the war memorials and D.C. monuments.  15 hours later, heroes were greeted by shouts, cheers, music, and flags at DCRA.  For many, this was their first chance to tour Arlington Cemetery and other D.C. memorials.  The Badger Honor Flight, part of a nationwide nonprofit organization, provides this life-changing memory at no cost to the veteran.
