Save the Date: Fall Theological Conference
The annual Southeastern Iowa Synod Fall Theological Conference for rostered ministers and congregational program staff will be held September 23-25, 2018, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Davenport, Iowa. We will gather around the theme “Leadership and Innovation” with Dr. Bill Withers from Wartburg College, Waverly; the Rev. Michael Hurst from Des Moines; and the Rev. Louise Johnson from Wartburg Theological Seminary, Dubuque. Registration information will be available in early July.

LEVN: Looking for Young Adults
The Lutheran Episcopal Volunteer Network is looking for young adults for an 11-month program of non-profit volunteer service and learning about social justice. From the end of August 2018 to the end of July 2019, our corps members will be provided housing, utilities, health coverage, transportation, spiritual direction, and a $400/month food stipend.

Continuing Education: Bridgebuilder Training
This training is for leaders to work with congregations that are stuck or in conflict. Based on systems theory it is designed to help congregations to move forward in their ministry. The training is scheduled at Luther Seminary August 27-29.  For more information visit
