The official start of summer is upon us! Welch and Park Forest Pools opened for weekend and evening swimming on Saturday, May 28 and will open full time for summer on Thursday, June 9! But that's not all, CRPR has a full schedule of summer camps and special events to make this your best summer yet! And don't forget, CRPR is celebrating 50 Years of Parks and Recreation in the Centre Region in 2016, so look for special 50th-themed giveaways at some events!

National Trails Day Hike!

The American Hiking Society’s National Trails Day is the country’s largest celebration of the extensive network of trails. Join a Millbrook Marsh Naturalist to explore the 62 acres along the boardwalk and conjoining paths. Trails provide access to the natural world for recreation, education, exploration, and much more. Come take a leisurely stroll and relax as you take in the beauty of Millbrook Marsh.

The Annual CRPR Touch-a-Truck Expo is Saturday, June 18 from 1-4 PM at the Mount Nittany Middle School Parking Lot. 

Come out to enjoy a wide variety of amazing trucks, from 18-wheelers to dump trucks, buses and more amazing machines!  Bring the kids out for a exciting afternoon of fun!

NEW FOR 2016!
To better accommodate children who are sensory sensitive, equipment operators will be encouraged to disable the vehicle horns from 3:30 to 4:00 PM.

Music & Munchies at the Marsh! 

Millbrook Marsh Nature Center is the perfect place to enjoy Music & Munchies! Join us to listen to the sounds of the Second Winds Band, enjoy a leisurely stroll on the boardwalk, and munch on lunch  in the nature center barn!

The Centre Region is home to many amazing parks, including the John Hess Softball Complex and Oak Hall Regional Park. Those two facilities, combined with numerous satellite fields, will host 18 sports tournaments and  events in 2016!
