Introductory Bird ID Series

Bring a bag lunch and learn the basics of bird identification at Millbrook Marsh. This class covers bird identification and basic birding techniques in a fun setting to help you become a better bird-watcher. Mark Henry, an avid lifetime birdwatcher, is a detailed, patient teacher who has taught bird watching classes for years and has traveled extensively looking for birds. Classes are held in the Spring Creek Education Building, rain or shine.

American Red Cross
Lifeguard Certification 

Do you want to make a difference this summer? Will you be 15 or older by April 28, 2016? Join CRPR and learn the skills and information necessary to become a professional lifeguard! 

Candidates must pass a pre-test of swimming skills on Wednesday, April 13 from 5-6 pm. Pre-test details available here.

Successful candidates receive certifications in Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR for the professional rescuer. In addition to schedule training sessions, students are required to complete approximately 7 hours of on-line coursework prior to the course completion. Students MUST have computer and internet access to complete this work.
