It's Concert Weekend with MYC!
That's the headline you would have expected to see in the Weekly Notes today followed by copious details about drop-off, call times, tickets, and parking for our spring concerts--Hindsight 2020--originally scheduled at the Capitol Theater for this Saturday and Sunday.

We have a special invitation for you. And the good news is, you don't have to figure out parking or keep track of call times to enjoy what we have planned.

On Sunday afternoon, May 3 at 4:30pm we will be hosting a Hindsight 2020 watch party on our Facebook page and we hope you will join us. (The content will also be available at the same time on our YouTube channel if you're not on Facebook).

We couldn't have known when we planned this season a year ago that our season theme of Vision and Hindsight would prove so profound and so timely. We invite you to celebrate with us what was accomplished this semester and the music and the ideas and the perspectives that now, in hindsight, are true companions in the midst of a world we didn't imagine eight weeks ago. Hindsight really is 2020!

Join us for the special watch party at 4:30pm on our Facebook page or enjoy the Hindsight 2020 content that will be posted on our YouTube channel on Sunday. Gather your family, tell your friends, be sure your singers are watching and let's create a memory together, even though we're apart. #myctogether #mycyousoon #hindsight2020

Zoom-ing this Sunday
Emails were sent to Cantabile and Ragazzi earlier this week with the meeting link. Please email us if you need this information resent to you.

Cantabile | 7:00pm, Sunday

It's MYChoir
  • Thank you to everyone who participated! Please mail your collected donations to the MYC office if you haven't already done so: 10 W Mifflin, Suite 400, Madison, WI 53703. A donor record for each donation can be completed by submitting the electronic "donation by check" form. This information is required so we may properly receipt donors supporting MYC by check.
  • In your mailing, please include a tracking sheet so we can cross-reference your information with donations already received. Your tracking sheet can be downloaded from our website or completed by making a copy of the Google template and sharing it with us. Please review your options here.
  • Thank you for thanking your donors! MYC will also be sending a thank you but hearing from you will be most meaningful.
  • Final results will be shared next week. Thank you to everyone who participated and shared their MYC story with the wider community!
Next Season with MYC
We hope you are anticipating next season with MYC as much as we are. As we imagine our community of singers being reunited, we know there will be a deeper appreciation post-quarantine, for connection and the myriad ways our voices come together. We are looking forward to relishing those moments with you!

Invitations to be part of MYC next year will be sent to families soon--please watch this space for more information next week. We are working to make it as easy as possible for everyone who wants to sing with us to have a seat--even if it's six feet away from their neighbor!
Introductory Choir Summer Registration
At this time we are still taking registrations for our summer sessions of introductory choir but the schedule is contingent upon further Safer at Home directives. We have reduced the number of available seats in each session to nine in anticipation of being in Phase One of the Badger Bounce Back in June and July. Our one-week sessions will meet Monday through Friday from 9am to noon and include time outside and a snack! All sessions will be held at Christ Presbyterian Church. Please direct interested friends and family to our "Join a Choir" page on our website for more information.
We hope you are all staying well and continuing to find ways to encourage and support one another at home and at work, in the living room and in the kitchen. Hang in there, everyone!

See you on Facebook this Sunday at 4:30pm! (Or on YouTube!)
