Dear Con Gioia Families and Singers:

You may have already read the email announcing the hiring of two new conductors for Con Gioia this fall (see bios below!). We are so excited for what this means for our program and for our Con Gioia singers in particular. With record enrollment, two conductors allow us to split Con Gioia into two groups of 30-35 singers (instead of one group of 60+ singers). Each group will have their own dedicated conductor and will be organized by grade level: Carrie Enstad will be conducting our Con Gioia 5th graders and Marie McManama will be leading our 6th and 7th graders. Both groups will rehearse at the same time from 4:00pm - 5:30pm at Westgate.

We're especially excited about this new structure as it allows us to continue welcoming new singers in this age range while providing our current Con Gioia singers the right-sized ensemble experience ensuring everyone has a positive and meaningful MYC experience. We hope you will join us in enthusiastically welcoming Carrie and Marie to the MYC family and look forward with great anticipation to our exciting season ahead! If you have any questions, as always, please be in touch with us.

P.S. We hope you're having a fantastic summer and if you have not yet registered your singer for the fall, please refer to the registration email you received on June 8 for all the instructions. The registration deadline is Friday, July 13. (If you need that email resent to you, please let us know!)
