Fly Local Again

At Dane County Regional Airport (DCRA), ensuring the health and safety of the traveling public and airport staff is our top priority. We want passengers to know that we are doing everything possible to keep them safe throughout their journey. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have implemented meticulous cleaning throughout the terminal. We clean every touched surface once a day and clean high touchpoints, like bathrooms, multiple times a day. Recently, we have installed signage throughout the terminal to remind passengers of important CDC guidelines. You can read what DCRA and all airport partners are doing to keep passengers safe here. We can't wait for you to Fly Local again!
Wisconsin & Dane County Mask Policy

The State of Wisconsin and Public Health Madison & Dane County now require masks to be worn in most public settings. This includes inside public buildings, healthcare settings, waiting in line outside a building, inside public transportation, etc. This also includes the airport terminal, so please wear a mask when in our airport. You can find more information on the Dane County order here, and the State of Wisconsin order here
Airline Safety Guidelines

Each airline has developed specific safety guidelines, including all airlines operating at DCRA. The most important passenger requirement is to wear a mask while checking in, boarding, and on the aircraft. You are encouraged to bring a mask, but masks are available at the airport. You can find a link to each airline's COVID-19 web page here
Sun Country's Inaugural Service

We are pleased to announce that Sun Country has resumed service at DCRA! Sun Country currently has service to Seattle, Portland, and Orlando. Unfortunately their service to Boston, Newark, and Nashville have discontinued due to low demand related to the pandemic. We hope to see all of these flights come back next year for their summer seasonal service! Find out more information and book your next trip at SunCountry.com
Terminal Construction

Before the pandemic, DCRA had started construction in two areas of the terminal. With limited travelers and interruption, the construction timeline has moved up almost an entire month! In August, the bathrooms at the north end of the terminal will be completed, and the gate 8 & 9 seating area expansion is expected to be completed by October. We will continue to update the public on our progress, and follow our social media for more frequent updates and pictures!
Airfield Construction

We are happy to announce the completion of our three-year-long taxiway construction project! This project began in 2017 and consisted of adding Taxiway M, a parallel taxiway along the northeast side of Runway 14-32. This project is to help reduce runway crossing and taxiing operations, which results in safer airfield operations. You can see pictures of the final project on our Flickr!

National, State, and Local Travel Restrictions

Wisconsin has been added to a handful of state and local travel advisory lists. This means that you may need to quarantine if you travel to a specific location. We recommend following all CDC travel guidelines, including checking the state and local travel restrictions of your destination. Read more about CDC travel guidelines here
Thank You Frontline Workers

We want to continue to thank all of the frontline employees for working hard in this challenging time. Not only frontline employees like first responders and healthcare professionals, but also grocery store workers, airline employees, gas station clerks, and so many more. Reach out to a frontline worker in your life and show thanks!
Traveling When This Is Over

This is a very difficult time for the travel industry, and recovery is still uncertain. New norms like disinfecting fog and social distancing may change the way we travel, but we are very excited for you to come back to the airport and travel again at the right time. Make sure to Fly Local when you choose to resume traveling!
