I-9 Compliance Flexibility

On March 20, 2020 DHS announced flexibility in the requirements to physically view documentation in section 2 of from I-9. Employers may view documentation remotely, retain a digital copy, and physically inspect documents once normal operations resume. Families First Coronavirus Response Act
From Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division

Going into effect on April 2, 2020 the Families First Coronavirus Response Act provides employees expanded family and medical leave for specific reasons related to COVID-19. The act requires that certain employers provide employees with either 80 hours at their regular rate of pay or 80 hours at 2/3 their rate of pay dependent on the specified reason the employee is going on leave.
