If you need to report an absence or late arrival, please complete the on-line absence form linked in the header section above. As a safety measure, if your singer is not checked in at rehearsal and we have not heard they will be absent, we will call you to verify the absence. The best way to reach us during rehearsals is via the MYC cell phone: 608-770-7464.

Please keep reading for all the details you need to know.
Final Boychoir Wardrobe Fitting is this Monday
Purcell | Britten | Holst

Monday, October 23 | 2:30 - 5:00pm

New singers who have not yet been fitted we will see you this Monday! Thank you for making this a priority in your schedule.

Returning singers: PLEASE try on your current wardrobe. If any pieces no longer fit, we need to see you AND your out-grown wardrobe this Monday.   Thank you for returning your wardrobe CLEAN and marked with your name.

Please note: boychoir fittings will need to end promptly at 5pm so the room can be set for 5:30 rehearsal. Please plan to arrive by at least 4:45pm to complete the fitting before 5pm. Please be aware that arriving any time after 4:15pm guarantees a very busy room with a longer wait for help. If you have flexibility, we recommend coming as early in the afternoon as possible.

Parents: it is helpful if at least one adult accompanies a singer to his fitting as there are multiple pieces to try and your assistance with sizing is appreciated.

We can always use more help with fittings--thank you for considering this volunteer opportunity (sign up below)!

Poinsettia Sale Information
Initial orders are due by November 14 for delivery or pick up the week of Thanksgiving (Tuesday or Wednesday, 11/21 or 11/22) and the week after Thanksgiving (Tuesday, 11/28 or Wednesday, 11/29). Ordering by November 14 also ensures best selection but we will keep selling until our stock is sold and alternate delivery/pick up dates are possible (just ask!).

Your business customers may submit their orders via the business order form or via the electronic form. Restaurants, coffee shops, churches, real estate offices, hair salons, hotels, car dealerships, banks, etc. are all good places to start.

Individual orders from family, friends and coworkers can be gathered and compiled by you or submitted via the electronic form. When selling to individuals, we recommend one delivery or pick up date as deliveries with fewer than 10 plants will incur delivery charges. There is no cost for pick up.

MYC retains sales information from past years and will gladly pass along former singer business leads to interested families. If you sold to businesses last year and need your contact information, please let us know--we can easily provide past order information to make your pitch as simple as possible.

Questions? Please ask!
Madison Marathon Fundraising Opportunity
Madison Festivals has several volunteer shifts available Friday, Saturday or Sunday, November 10, 11, or 12, to support the running of the Madison Marathon (with no running required!). Sign up to be a bike escort, course marshall or any number of other necessary positions to help pull off this popular event in November! Volunteers earn $9/hour toward their family fundraising contribution goal. Any position that is not designated with an organization's name is available to be reserved.

November orders are due Monday, November 6. Families receive $5/unit sold toward their fundraising contribution goal.
