1/26 Summer Camp Information & Registration!
  • The world’s largest snowflake was reported to be 15 inches across and 8 inches thick. The Guinness Book of World Records states that this giant snowflake was found at Fort Keogh, Montana on January 28, 1887.
  • ​Snow is actually clear and colorless.
  • ​80% of all the freshwater on earth is frozen as ice or snow.  This accounts for 12% of the earth’s surface.
  • ​All snowflakes have 6 sides.

Happy New Year! Even though the snow is falling, Millbrook Marsh is thinking about SUMMER! We are planning a great roster of Specialty Summer Camps for this year, and working on some new session and fees structures for the Puddle Jumpers Nature Play program. These great things are coming soon! And don't forget, we still have a great menu of programs during the chilly months. We hope to see you out and about at Millbrook Marsh!

Inclement weather may have postponed the Puddle Jumpers Open House, but we hopped on over to a new date! Join us on Wednesday, January 28 from 6:30-8:00 pm. 

This is a great opportunity to lean about our new Puddle Jumpers program for preschoolers including meeting the program leaders, visiting the classroom, and checking our some of our awesome activities!

Be a “Fly Kid” and join the Millbrook Marsh Young Birder Club! Club meetings cover bird watching techniques, bird identification, activities and more. Bring binoculars if you have them, a few pairs are available to borrow. Advance registration required; for more info and to register, click here!
Bring a bag lunch and learn the basics of bird identification. This class covers basic birding techniques in a fun setting to help you become a better bird-watcher! Mark Henry, an avid lifetime bird-watcher is a detailed, patient teacher who has taught bird watching for years. Class is held rain or shine!
