  • Recruitment of student athletes for the 6th edition of the Tricolore Youth Sports Games in Reggio Emilia, Italy planned for June 29 – July 8 is underway. Fort Worth may be sending 200+ students as the sole representatives of the U.S.A.
  • An Italian company from Reggio Emilia is in the process of relocating its worldwide business to Fort Worth. Ananda Gari, Pre Gel’s first Fort Worth employee, is now living in Fort Worth and is hard at work laying the groundwork.
  • Youth Ambassador applications are now available for travel to Reggio Emilia in the spring of 2018.
  • This month we celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the official signing of partnership with Reggio Emilia.

  • Three middle schools (Fort Worth Country Day, World Languages Institute, and Young Women’s Leadership Academy) are busy planning a visit from 30 middle school students and 6 adults from Nagaoka for October 21-29.

 
 
 
  • Last month we celebrated the 27th anniversary of the official signing of the partnership with Bandung.
 
 
 
  • Youth Ambassador applications are now available for travel to Budapest in the spring of 2018.
  • Dates are final for an official trip to Budapest August 22-31, 2018. To help with the planning or to reserve a spot to join Fort Worth City Council members,  board chair Johnny Campbell, and Budapest Chair Greg Jackson on this trip, email Beth Weibel at beth@fwsistercities.org.
 
 
 
  • Youth Ambassador applications are now available for travel to Toluca in the spring of 2018.
  • Last month, Toluca city officials attended a special reception for the Fort Worth Opera in Mexico City in celebration of a new opera written about Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.
  • This month we celebrate the 19th anniversary of the official signing of partnership with Toluca.
 
 
 
  • Sister Cities and the Fort Worth Rotary Club just returned from Mbabane where they delivered 292 wheelchairs to people in need and established a repair shop to maintain those chairs and provide income for some of the recipients.
  • Youth Ambassador applications are now available for travel to Mbabane in the summer of 2018.
 
 
 
  • This month we celebrate the 6th anniversary of the official signing of partnership with Guiyang.
