Weekly Notes From Madison Youth Choirs
Thursday, December 17, 2020
Thank you!
To all our singers and their families--thank you for the countless ways you contributed to making this semester one to remember and celebrate. We all went down a new path together and learned so much along the way.

Thank you for your patience as we navigated new ways of meeting and making music together. We have so much to look forward to in 2021 and are so grateful to our MYC community for the ways you have supported us and encouraged us every day during this pandemic. In the words of one of our dear conductors, "We have endured something spectacular together...lighted with joy."

Thank you for being the light!

Next Semester Registration - Check Your Email
It's time to renew your participation in MYC for second semester! We will be resending registration info on Friday morning to everyone who has not yet registered just so you have the info handy in your inbox. Our second semester of MYC begins Sunday, January 31 and will be a full 15-week experience for our singers ending on Sunday, May 23.

Welcoming New Singers in January
Virtual auditions for new singers (in grades 5-12) interested in joining MYC second semester will be on Sunday, January 10. For younger students, ages 7-10, our winter session of introductory choir begins on January 31 and registration is now open on our website. Thank you for sharing with friends and directing them to the Join a Choir page for more information.

Winter Break
The MYC office will be closed beginning at noon tomorrow, Friday, December 18, and reopening on Monday, January 4. We will still be accepting registration renewals for next semester, checking regular mail and monitoring emails for time-sensitive questions but, for the most part, we will be on break with our families.

We look forward to seeing everyone in 2021 and wish you all the very best of health and every good thing for the new year.
