As a reminder, you can see your singer's full semester schedule by clicking on the calendar link in the header section above.

If you need to report an absence or late arrival, please complete the on-line absence form linked in the header section above. As a safety measure, if your singer is not checked in at rehearsal and we have not heard they will be absent, we will call you to verify the absence. Keep reading for all the details you need to know!

Our final and most important fundraising campaign of the season--It's MYChoir (IMC)-- is underway and we're already noticing your Facebook fundraisers having an impact!

Singers received information packets at rehearsal on Sunday or Monday. If you were absent, your packet will be waiting for you at rehearsal this weekend. (Or feel free to drop by the office and pick it up).

What To Do Before Rehearsal this Weekend:
Read through the packet with your singer and make a plan. Bring your Golden Ticket to rehearsal: it's a treat week celebrating the campaign kick-off!

Check out (and share) the IMC webpage in your emails or letters. Donors can give through the donate button and you can see weekly updates on our progress. There are also links to campaign materials if you need extra donor record forms, etc.

Because tuition covers less than 50% of the total cost of participation, fundraising is a necessary part of MYC membership. We count on families to embrace their fundraising contribution goal each year to help cover the tuition gap. Updated statements were emailed to families this week--thank you for paying attention to your fundraising progress, setting a goal, and participating!

Ragazzi and Cantabile: Rehearsal Link
Cantabile/Ragazzi singers: here's the link to the realized version of  "Common Mind", the Jon Nelson composition we're singing with WYSO musicians in April. It'll be helpful to get a sense of the entire piece and the orchestration throughout.

Wardrobe Fittings for New Singers
New families: thank you for being in touch with Ian regarding your wardrobe fitting. An email was sent to you last week with details on how to set up a fitting appointment. Please email Ian to set that up or to get more information.

Introductory Choir: Seats Available
Classes begin next week and we still have seats available in most of our sessions. Registration is open on our website. Classes are offered on Sunday afternoon or Tuesday evening at Westgate as well as Saturday mornings at Lake Edge Lutheran Church. Introductory choir is the first step for students ages 7-10 who are interested in participating with MYC. Thank you for sharing with your friends and neighbors who might be interested!

Ragazzi: Two Concerts at Capitol Theater in May
As part of our Legacy theme, the singers in Ragazzi have excitedly expressed interest in joining their younger boychoir colleagues in May on their Saturday evening concert. This means Ragazzi will perform both on Saturday evening, May 11, (alone and with Purcell, Britten, and Holst) as well as on Sunday evening, May 12, with Cantabile and Cantilena.

Calendars are updated to add Ragazzi to the Saturday, May 11, dress rehearsal and concert. Please let us know if you have an immovable conflict.
