This is our favorite time of year around the Children's Safety Center. A time where we
see firsthand the generosity and thoughtfulness from the people of Northwest Arkansas. Please read the stories of giving below. We hope they inspire you as much
as you've inspired us. Thank you for all you've done for the Center and the children we serve. Together, we are providing hope, help and healing to the children who need it most.

One Child Gives To Others

For Kemper's 6th birthday not only did he want to celebrate with his closest friends by having a Karate party, but he wanted to help other kids as well. So on his birthday party invitations he mentioned the Children's Safety Center and listed some current needs that we had that guests could bring to donate. Kemper said, "I want to help others and I hope the kids enjoy the art supplies." Thank you for your generosity Kemper! We hope your giving spirit encourages others this holiday season.

Family Friends Spread the Spirit of Giving

In 2016, Missy Blakey and I (Elizabeth Shackelford, Executive Director of the CSC) were talking about the Children’s Safety Center. She asked about “adopting” a child for Christmas. Missy’s birthday is also in December. Missy explained that for her birthday, she wanted to buy Christmas gifts for one of the CSC’s children, along with her husband, Matthew, and two children, Davis and Parker. The Blakey’s made the shopping and wrapping family time and a celebration of Missy’s birthday. This year we were at a friend’s house catching up and Missy and I were talking about the CSC and she said she wanted to “adopt” two of our children for Christmas. I was so excited! The CSC had a sister and brother who we knew deserved a Merry Christmas. Missy not only included Matthew, Davis and Parker, again, but also her mother and some of her friends. This year Paige Arnold and her husband Chris, as well as their two children Chase and Spencer also helped. Jenny Vanhook, one of mine and Missy’s friends also made the magic happen. So many wonderful, giving people made sure both children would experience an amazing Christmas. They all said they had a lot of fun shopping and after touring the center would definitely continue supporting our children!

Thank you to the C.A.R.E. Initiative (Children, Awareness, Responsibility, and Encouragement - Saatchi & Saatchi X's Corporate Giving Arm) and the employees of Saatchi & Saatchi X for the substantial grant and Christmas presents for several of our families. We are thankful to have your continued support over the years and your gift ensures that we are able to provide services to alleged child abuse victims in Washington County.

Help support our FREE programs for child abuse victims by clicking the handprint to donate today.

We have already served 671 child abuse victims this year and a total of 612 children were helped in 2016. These children would not have their voice heard if it wasn't for generous donors like you.

Thank you and Happy Holidays!
