We are looking for up to four Project Team members who will work closely together with grantee partners, board members, donors, and staff to fulfill the Out in the South grant. Their primary responsibilities will be organizing gatherings in Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and Kentucky; gathering and assessing information, fundraising and building the LGBTQ Fund. These are contract positions that report to the executive director. They will end when the grant is fulfilled. Given the size of the region, folks do not have to live in Knoxville for the job.
Pay-Range: $14-15 per hour
Three plus years’ experience organizing and implementing community projects/programs.
Ability to work with diverse populations, particularly the LGBTQ Community.
Strong written and verbal skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
At least 21 years of age with clear driving record and able to travel.
Skilled in Google docs, Microsoft Office Suite and basics of donor database software.

- Social movements that affect ACF’s grantmaking and politics on a local, regional, national and global level.
