Final Week!
There's still time to email friends and family, post to Facebook or make a phone call. Don't underestimate the value of your personal MYC story and the power of including people who care about how you spend your time!

Online Donations
When an online donation is made on your singer's behalf we will email you with the details so you can track your progress. If you have NOT received an email from us it means we have NOT received an online donation for your singer. Online donation summaries will be emailed on a daily basis this week as donations are received.

Facebook
We have enjoyed seeing many posts to Facebook! This is a convenient way to engage many people at one time but it also means your appeal has the potential of getting "lost" in the noise. If you are using social media, please consider posting a reminder or a new appeal this week as we near the end of the campaign (especially if you have not been notified of a donation).  

Sending Reminders
Everyone gets busy and a simple reminder that donations are being collected through this weekend is greatly appreciated! Turn-in day is March 26/27, this coming Sunday/Monday!

As you begin receiving donations, record each donation on your tracking sheet: both those made by check and those made via the electronic form. Remember: every donation made by check also requires a completed donor record form.

Say thank you! This is so important! MYC is also providing a thank you along with a receipt but a note from you is the most meaningful.

Spring Break and Absences This Weekend
If you are absent this weekend, please plan to bring your packet to rehearsal the weekend of April 2/3. Donations collected through April 3 will count toward individual and ensemble rewards. (We will gladly continue collecting gifts after April 3 but these will not count toward campaign recognition awards.)

Remember: the first measure of participation is sharing your MYC story with at least one person outside of your immediate family. Our goal is 100% participation! Just like in rehearsal, every voice matters and your participation is key.
 
I am humbled and grateful that friends and family have been thrilled to support our daughter's life and thank us for including them.  Even long-distance relatives who aren't able to attend an MYC concert (or benefit from fruit, poinsettias, coffee, etc) are excited for the opportunity to participate in this campaign.

It's MYChoir (IMC) is both a fundraising campaign and an opportunity for members and staff to share with the wider community the importance of music education and the benefits it provides. Because tuition alone covers less than 50% of the total cost of each singer's enrollment, fundraising is a necessary part of MYC membership. We count on families to fully participate and meet their $200 family fundraising goal each year to help cover the tuition gap.
